Giving Back to Our Community

Volunteering to help. What neighbors are lowly, what counties have the greatest death increase, which young age groups are struggling with deaths increase. When we can't do anything, have we humbled ourselves and prayed for help in the situation or prayed for that person?

Greatest Commandment:  Matthew 22:35-40

Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. 

As mind-altering substances increase in an area, destruction occurs, how can we help? Are young, elderly and special needs protected from substances or from situations that arise from substance use around them? Can we strengthen young, elderly, those in shelters or in jail with a church service or bible study, can we support churches to help make this happen?
